Executive Coaching Philosophy
The purpose of coaching is to build new competencies and the capacity for new action. Coaching goes beyond the simple teaching of theories and techniques and engages the client in action that produces embodied learning the ability to respond to events in an immediate and effective way.
Coaching is a unique type of interactive relationship which, over time, can transform the effectiveness of a leader. In the coaching relationship John is able to reveal to the leader elements of his or her performance which they would otherwise be unable to see. Through the introduction of new distinctions and the development of new practices, John expands the leader's possibilities in responding to tough situations. This is a process that takes place over time and requires a relationship of internationality and trust.
